The Interceptor is THE BOMB! One of my favorite British cars.

I figured I would Intercept at least one Oppo's bait categories with this.

I have driven this car and it is BONKERS. A fully restored one with a warmed over V8 would be the $hit.

Interceptor and FF look pretty much the same but FF is 5" longer and has Ferguson's 4wd system. FF was the car in the market that had 4wd but wasn't SUV type vehicle. The extra fender vent is the easiest way to separate these.
This thing was just on speedhunters.com page:

Yep. I surprised someone last month, I think it was, with the revelation that the FF had ABS and a very modern AWD system at such an early date.

I think we have three Interceptors in Finland but no FFs. But we have one weird Daimler Sovereign that has FFs driveline and Chryslers 440 cid engine. It left the Jaguar factory as without powertrain and it went to FF Developments for 4wd conversion. They wanted shove Jaguar V12 but due some problems went to big Chrysler engine instead. It was originally used by some (wealthy) Swiss doctor but the car finally ended up Finland. It was recently test driven by our biggest classic car magazine.

And given solid marks, I'm sure! AWD and a Mopar big-block in a Sovereign -what a ride.

Class, power, drivability - it's almost like a back door way of making an Aston Martin, but better.
